Jackpine Group Takes Over EZSPAN Sales from TOLKO Marketing
Williams Lake, B.C. – January 14, 2008
Jackpine announces an important change to the marketing of its signature product, EZSPAN rafters and floor joists. EZSPAN is the company’s premium long length finger-jointed product manufactured to specified lengths ranging from 22’ to 60’ from highline Western SPF lumber. This product is known for its high quality standard and every piece is tension tested for strength. The company also recently upgraded its adhesive to meet the requirements for HRA (Heat Resistance Adhesive) certification.
During the past nine years Jackpine Engineered Wood Products has manufactured the premium EZSPAN line of products and Tolko Marketing and Sales (and its predecessors) have been the marketing agents in the United States. This has been a very successful arrangement for both companies and has resulted in EZSPAN becoming the dominant product in the market. This arrangement will end as of February 1st, 2008 by mutual consent and Jackpine’s marketing team will take on the responsibilities for marketing and sales.
Jackpine wishes to thank Tolko and its predecessors for the sound foundation and loyal customer base they have developed. This positions the company for success as it assumes responsibility for the sales and marketing of its entire product line, including Engineered Wood Products. To that end, Gian Singh Sandhu President and CEO of Jackpine Group of Companies is pleased to welcome Todd Perry to its Sales and Marketing team effective February 1st, 2008.
In his capacity as Sales Manager, Engineered Wood Products, Todd will provide continuity of service to our valued customers and work on developing new markets. The full line of complimentary products will be at his disposal along with the expertise of the entire Sales, Marketing and Transportation team.
