The Jackpine Group’s environmental policy is related to our corporate vision for leadership and longevity in the value-added forest product manufacturing industry, and our commitment to future generations.

The commitment to sound environmental practices pertains to Jackpine’s forest products manufacturing facilities.

The Jackpine Group of Companies commits to undertaking the following in achieving the goal of achieving environmentally responsible operations:

1. Provide necessary resources, including management leadership, to ensure responsible environmental stewardship.
2. Allocate responsibility for environmental stewardship to functional managers.
3. Communication of the company’s environmental stewardship goals, expectations and performance to all employees.
4. Establish and update environmental operating procedures to ensure goals are met.
5. Conduct all operations with a goal of pollution prevention
6. Measurement of environmental performance our facility operations through audits and management review.
7. Provide training for employees, contractors and managers to increase awareness in and clarity roles for meeting the company’s environmental goals.
8. Continual improvement of our environmental performance.

The Jackpine Group of Companies’ environmental performance will be reviewed and reported annually.
