This machine centre produces solid studs and other value added products from low grade lumber. Responsibility includes utilizing and supervising a production crew of 16-18, exercising proper safety procedures, obtaining exceptional quality standards, and achieving goals, always keeping in mind corporate mission “To add value to every piece of wood that enters the plant and produce high quality products with maximum efficiency and recovery”
The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent interpersonal, communication and supervisory skills. Previous supervisory experience in an industrial production environment, preferably lumber re-manufacturing, as well as shift work experience is essential. Computer experience working with spreadsheets and lumber grading ticket will be an asset.
